This message is a reminder that Fedora 24 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 2 (two) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 24. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '24'. Description of problem: sage doesn't find jmol in usr/lib64/sagemath/local/bin/ and doesn't launch it despite stating: "Launched jmol viewer for Graphics3d Object" Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): sagemath-6.8-14.fc24.x86_64 jmol-14.6.0-1.2016.06.30.fc24.noarch How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. $ sage 2. sage: u, v = var('u, v') 3. sage: parametric_plot3d([u, v, u^2-v^2], (u, -2, 2), (v, -2, 2)) Actual results: jmol viewer is not launched for Graphics3d Object, only preview.png is created in .sage/temp/nina.brq.redhat.com/<PID/>dir_....../ Expected results: jmol viewer is launched for Graphics3d Object Additional info: Works as expected with following workaround: # ln -s /usr/bin/jmol /usr/lib64/sagemath/local/bin/jmol
