Description of problem:

streaming any video (youtube/netflix et.al) freezes my machine with 4.9.0 kernel. And this never happened on 4.8.0

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-4.9.0-0.rc1.git3.1.fc26.x86_64 
also  git2.1, git1.1 and rc0's etc.

1. play netflix

shouldn't freeze

I see that running speedtest-cli also causes this issue.

seeing this with kernel-4.9.0-0.rc2.git1.1.fc26.x86_64 as well

Doing some pruning, this bug looks to be years old. Please test on a newer kernel and reopen if the problem still exists.
