Description of problem:
Unable to launch RHQ gui.
Root cause of the issue: Alert definition unused purge  operation is utilizing 100% CPU . Making RHQ server unavailable.The operation is not either getting successful nor getting aborted. 
We could see large number of transactions getting failed.
