Description of problem:
when adding host UI says, that host installation failed(among messages) while host status is still 'Installing'. Hint: "	

Host dev07 installation failed. Please refer to /home/mmucha/build/ovirt-engine/var/log/ovirt-engine/engine.log and log logs under /home/mmucha/build/ovirt-engine/var/log/ovirt-engine/host-deploy/ for further details"

does not show any evident errors, only lots of debugging messages.

Reloading whole page does not fix the status of host, it remains in 'installing' state. Host was and is still reachable on current network.




Expected results:
• up-to-date host status
• when there's was failures and I'm instructed to check log, there should be failure explained.

+ host(~ it's engine representation) in its new 'target' state cannot be removed, refreshed, anything except dropping whole engine db...

From the logs it looks like the host had issues resolving resources.ovirt.org.

I am unable to reproduce this, how often does this happen? any steps to reproduce this would be helpful.

it was totally coincidental, so I cannot provide you with more details. I was working from brno office, so it's not related to common 'slow network'/vpn issues. 

Anyways, the cause of error isn't probably important. If host installation failed, UI should not be stuck (even after reboot) in installing state. Also I did not find ERROR in log; if it's not there, shouldn't it be there?

We haven't been able to reproduce, feel free to reopen if raised again and provide new logs
