Seems a simple enough change. I made the corresponding fix in Fedora Rawhide. WW16.3 Update: Verified this issue with RHEL7.4 - kernel - 3.10.0-632.el7.x86_64 ENV; Host: ESXi6.5 Guest: RHEL7.4 Kernel: 3.10.0-632.el7.x86_64 Steps: 1. Install target VM based on above ENV 2. "rpm -qR open-vm-tools | grep pciutils" Result: 1. After step 2, open-vm-tools depends on pciutils WW16.3 Update: Verified this issue with RHEL7.4 - kernel - 3.10.0-632.el7.x86_64 ENV; Host: ESXi6.5 Guest: RHEL7.4 Kernel: 3.10.0-632.el7.x86_64 OVT: open-vm-tools-10.1.5-3.el7.x86_64 Steps: 1.
