Description Lukáš Hellebrandt 2016-10-27 10:20:02 UTC
When running spacewalk-hostname-rename on sat560 with postgresql92, the tool fails with "Testing DB connection ... FAILED".
This is related to #1386140. It is the same issue, however, postgresql92 compatibility has never been backported to sat560 even though the documentation [1] states that "Red Hat supports Red Hat Satellite installations on a External Database using one of the following: * PostgreSQL 8.4 or greater [...]".

I would expect this either to be fixed in 560 or in documentation.

This has been fixed in Satellite 5.7. I'm closing the BZ CURRENTRELEASE.
