This a misnomer but a valid issue given that when 'foreman-rake' is run without arguments the code does not set the environment to production properly and thus uses a sqlite adapter instead of postgres and throws the above index length error. Any use of 'foreman-rake' with an arugment (.e.g foreman-rake console) will not result in the above. That is, the index error isn't a real error, rather the error is in how the foreman-rake script handles no arguments being passed to it. We have evaluated this request, and we do not expect this to be implemented in the product in the foreseeable future. We are therefore closing this out as WONTFIX. If you have any concerns about this, please feel free to contact Rich Jerrido or Bryan Kearney. Thank you. |
