dmesg output of loop (drm.debug=255)

Description of problem:
Sometimes, after it had worked fine for hours, my Intel Skylake graphics starts to loop between HDMI connect and disconnect events. (Of course the TV actually stays connected, although switched off.)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-4.7.9-200.fc24.x86_64
kernel-4.7.3-200.fc24.x86_64

How reproducible:
Starts randomly with TV on HDMI connector turned off, without a "real" hotplug event. HDMI stays connected all the time.

Actual results:
The connection state loops between connected and disconnected.

Expected results:
Stays quiet at state connected.

Additional info:
Forcing the output to connected using video=HDMI-A-1:D and a saved EDID block drm_kms_helper.edid_firmware=HDMI-A-1:edid/leo-samsung.bin doesn't disable the hotplug events.

*********** MASS BUG UPDATE **************

We apologize for the inconvenience. There are a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 24 kernel bugs.

Fedora 25 has now been rebased to 4.10.9-100.fc24. Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel.

If you have moved on to Fedora 26, and are still experiencing this issue, please change the version to Fedora 26.

If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.
