Description jaaf64 2016-10-30 05:51:40 UTC
When using dnf upgrade, the first message that is presented to the user after a summary of what will be downloaded, and just after the sentence "Total size of downloads" is :

"Is this Ok [y|N]?"

From the user's point of view, this question seems a complete nonsense. How could the user know what has to be updated, downloaded, if the size of downloads is correct or anything else.

It seems to me that the question that should be asked to the user is :

" Do you agree to proceed ? " or something equivalent.

I also agree that there coudl be something more understandable printed but this is yum specific message that people are used to so changing it would do more harm.

Hi Honza,
Thank you for answering even if your answer is not very satisfactory.
I cannot see what could create harm in improving a message that is not understandable or is completely inadequate? But of course, it's up to you to decide.
