error message

Description of problem:
When I open settings view and immediately start changing Server Control settings like turning on/off Capacity & Utilization settings, I always get an error "Edit aborted! CFME does not support the browser's back button ..." (see screenshot).

When I open Settings->Configuration and switch between view before, the error doesn't happen.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
5.6.2.2

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Settings->Configuration view
2. Try to turn on/off any switches from Server Control group (don't change any views there)

Actual results:
The Error message (see screenshot) appears on attempt to turn on/off any of those switches

Expected results:
there shouldn't be any error in such case

This issue exists also in CFME 5.7 but the error message is absent there.
Any changes made in that view just don't activate Save/Reset buttons instead.

Ievgen,

I am unable to recreate this issue on upstream or on 5.6.2 codebase, can you please provide access to your appliance where i can recreate the issue that will help in troubleshooting.

Thanks,
~Harpreet

It turned out that I cannot reproduce this issue in FF. It is only Chrome relevant.
I prepared appliance for you - https://10.16.5.141.

Please don't click zones there.
Just click any switch when you opened Settings->Configuration.

Comment 10 Ievgen Zapolskyi 2016-11-07 15:15:52 UTC
I've figured out that the reason for this issue is one of chrome extensions turned on in my browser.
