verified this issue in 5.6.3.0.20161108115816_66df924 and feature works fine.

1. open the appliance_console and set the hostname (valid FQDN)
2. configure the ext_auth for IPA

Ext_auth for IPA configured successfully.


check the /etc/hosts on appliance:

[root@localhost vmdb]# cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1        <appliance-FQDN> localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
::1              <appliance-FQDN> localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6
