Doc Text:
Cause: the "disable strict user checking" option was not serialized into the OVF. Consequence: If edited the "disable strict user checking" on a running VM, this setting did not take effect. Fix: Made sure the "disable strict user checking" is properly serialized to OVF. Result: The "disable strict user checking" can be edited also on a running VM.

Description Jiri Belka 2016-11-02 11:32:00 UTC
Description of problem:

VM option 'disable user strict checking' change is not remembered in UI (ie. afte checking the checkbox - enabling [true] - next opening of VM settings still shows the checkbox unchecked) but changes are propagated to DB (allow_console_reconnect).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ovirt-engine-webadmin-portal-4.0.5.4-0.1.el7ev.noarch

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create new fresh VM
2. run this VM
3. when running edit VM settings, check disable user strict checking checkbox
4. see DB if it is false or true
5. open again VM settings and observe if the previously checked checkbox is checked or not

Actual results:
changes are not visible in UI

Expected results:
change should be visible in UI
