Description of problem:

I first installed eclipse (sudo dnf install eclipse). I ran eclipse and it seemed to work fine. I then installed eclipse-webtools-webservices with dnf. I launched eclipse and it gave an error message pointing me to the .log file located within the selected workspace. I removed eclipse-webtools-webservices and eclipse again ran correctly.
