Based on findings in email lists, bug trackers, and forums I think it’s fair to claim that this is expected to work out of the box. This was due to another issue upstream. |
Description of problem: Daemons on the network aren’t discovered automatically. Add the below to port entry to the service definition in "/usr/lib/firewalld/services/icecream.xml": <port protocol="udp" port="8765"/> By adding this, Icecream schedulers can discover daemons running on the local network automatically. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.0.98-3.fc24 Work-around (for future Googlers): firewall-cmd --permanent --service=icecream --add-port=8765/udp
