Hey Robert, I can't seem to reproduce this issue. It seems to work as expected for me. Is it possible that the two comment forms were confusing? (In reply to Erik Newby from comment #1) > Hey Robert, I can't seem to reproduce this issue. It seems to work as > expected for me. Is it possible that the two comment forms were confusing? Well, yes, it's possible. But I would say it's unlikely -- I use the forums all the time, so I know what field to write to. Anyway, don't know if it can help, but I remember it went like this: 1. Submitted comment. 2. The page reloaded, and comment appeared twice -- one in the proper threaded place, the second at the bottom of the discussion. 3. I reloaded the page, and the comment ended up only at the bottom. |
Created attachment 1217749 [details] Wrong CP comment threading. Description of problem: When replying to a comment that's not at the end of the discussion thread, the reply should appear right below the comment to which is being replied. This doesn't happen -- it lands at the very end of the thread, thus making it hard to understand the flow of the discussion. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click 'Reply' on a non-lowest comment in a discussion. 2. Write your comment. 3. Click on 'Post response'. Actual results: New comment appears at the end of all comments. Expected results: New comment appears directly below the comment to which it replies. Additional info: I haven't tested it thoroughly yet. I also believe this used to work as expected, though I'm not 100% sure. I'm adding a screenshot. The circled comment resulted from clicking on the circled link.
