In my last comment I somehow used the wrong kernel numbers, in my grup boot it says 4.8.6-201.fc24.x86_64, so that is the current one that doesnt work, and I had one ending in 200 before (I guess it was kernel-4.8.4-200.fc24), but I don't know any more which one it is because it is gone from the boot selection, this one also didn't work. The one before that worked and booted (I guess it was kernel-4.7.9-200.fc24), even after updating to the last one. Sorry for the confusion in the first comment. Upgraded to 4.8.7-200, still no change. Same issue in my Sony Vaio Pro 13 too. Boot on kernek 4.7.9-200 but not in > 4.8.x. Tested 4.8.8 and wont boot. Is there anything we can do to make this disappear? Same for me, also on a Sony Vaio Pro 13. This seems to be a duplicate of bug 1397841 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1397841 The issue seems to be resolved in the rawhide kernel 4.9.0-0.rc7.git3.2.fc26.x86_64 which boots again without giving disk problems. *********** MASS BUG UPDATE ************** We apologize for the inconvenience. There are a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 24 kernel bugs. Fedora 25 has now been rebased to 4.10.9-100.fc24. Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel. If you have moved on to Fedora 26, and are still experiencing this issue, please change the version to Fedora 26. If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those. *********** MASS BUG UPDATE ************** This bug is being closed with INSUFFICIENT_DATA as there has not been a response in 2 weeks. If you are still experiencing this issue, please reopen and attach the relevant data from the latest kernel you are running and any data that might have been requested previously. |
