Verified on CFME-5.7.0.10 & RHV-4.0.4

Remove disk of an up/down VM.
"Delete Backing" = ON => Disk was detached from the VM.
"Delete Backing" = OFF => Disk was removed from the storage domain.

Correction to comment 3:

Remove disk of an up/down VM.
"Delete Backing" = OFF => Disk was detached from the VM.
"Delete Backing" = ON => Disk was removed from the storage domain.

Default is set to "Delete Backing" = OFF.
