User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Build Identifier: When installing python3-tzlocal on Fedora 24, tzlocal don't work due to missing dependency with pytz. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. On a clean Fedora installation, at least one without python3-pytz pre-installed 2. dnf install python3-tzlocal 3. python3 -c "import tzlocal" Actual Results: Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 1, in <module> File "/usr/lib/python3.5/site-packages/tzlocal/__init__.py", line 7, in <module> from tzlocal.unix import get_localzone, reload_localzone File "/usr/lib/python3.5/site-packages/tzlocal/unix.py", line 4, in <module> import pytz ImportError: No module named 'pytz' I think this is due to misplaced requires line. The python3-pytz requires is added to python-tzlocal (the Python 2 package) instead of python3-tzlocal. A simple workaround is to explicitly install python3-pytz which solve this issue. Also this bug seems still present in rawhide (misplaced requires line is present in latest master of http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/rpms/python-tzlocal.git)
