Description Zdenek Chmelar 2016-11-09 15:54:22 UTC
Description of problem:
Just installed homebank with its dependencies:

 homebank
 libofx
 opensp
 sgml-common

Right after the application has started, I was offered with few options on the Welcome Dialog. I took "Read HomeBank Manual" and got this error:

"Browser error. cold not display the URL file:/usr/share/doc/homebank-data/help/index.html"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
5.1.1-1.fc25

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Welcome dialog pops up during first start or can be opened via "Tools" -> "Show welcome dialog..."
2) once opened, click on the first option "Read HomeBank Manual"
3) Error is received

Actual results:
Can't get local manual

Expected results:
I should get manual in html

Hi, Zdenek Chmelar, thanks for your bug report.

homebank docs are in other package called homebank-doc please install.
'sudo dnf install homebank-doc -y'

https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/homebank

Comment 2 Zdenek Chmelar 2016-11-09 18:10:46 UTC
Hello Filipe

Well this "doc" package wasn't installed together with the other packages and the homebank application didn't advice me to do so.
Well if the application offers the local documentation, shouldn't it be installed all together (that means installation of homebank should install homebank-doc automatically)?

From an usability standpoint, I totally agree with you (Zdenek) about the -doc package.

Perhaps, we can add a recommends .. What do you think, Filipe?
