Description Pavel Zagalsky 2016-11-14 13:29:35 UTC
Description of problem:
Outgoing SMTP Server that is in use to send out Control messages prints out errors when checking it's usability

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
5.7.10

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Settings --> Configuration
2. Set up
     Host to localhost,
     Port to 1025
     Start TLS Automatically Yes
     SSL Verify Mode None
     From E-mail Address: your mail
     Test E-mail Address: your mail
3. Press Verify

Actual results:
Error appears in GUI that says:
Error during sending test email: Errno::ECONNREFUSED, Connection refused - connect(2) for "localhost" port 1025
And in log:
ERROR -- : MIQ(ops_controller-settings_update): Error during sending test email: Errno::ECONNREFUSED, Connection refused - connect(2) for "localhost" port 1025

Expected results:
There should be a message that says that the test email was sent successfully

Beni please help Pavel, because this seems a misconfiguration issue (and once solved we'll probably have to close this with NOTABUG/WORKSFORME).

Comment 4 Pavel Zagalsky 2016-11-16 13:32:17 UTC
Not a bug, misconfiguration issue
