Description Vinzenz Feenstra [evilissimo] 2016-11-14 14:27:07 UTC
This rebranding should also consider
- upgrade paths from RHEV Agent -> oVirt Agent via RHV Guest Tools ISO

- %PROGRAMFILES%\\RHEV\\Tools\\InstallLogs\\Install.rhev-agent-service.log => %INSTALL_LOCATION%\\ovirt-guest-agent.log
- Rename Service to Upstream name
- Rename Display Name to upstream name "OVirtGuestService"

Basically the installation of the naming and location of the downstream guest agent should be equivalent to the upstream guest agent

SSO Credential Providers do of course still need to be installed

Thanks

No. That bug deals with re-branding of the RHEV GA to (u/s) oVirt GA.

This bug is about changing the whole d/s WGT package from RHEV to RHV.

Currently only the service filename, service name, as well as the service log file were re-branded to oVirt ones from RHEV ones.

The package itself still named as RHEV-Agent, and the MSI installation logs (Install/Uninstall.*.log) thus named accordingly, this due to references to the package in other places.
