Description of problem:
There is a bit of redundancy in retrace-server-interact and retrace-server-worker.  It would be good to remove the redundant code where possible.

Additional info:
I was talking with Kyle Walker about retrace-server and he mentioned that the code may need refactored in this area.  Myself and/or kyle can help with review of patches if it's unclear.
