Description Pablo Iranzo Gómez 2016-11-22 19:25:21 UTC
Description of problem:

shotwell on F25 has some dependencies on:

# rpm -qf /usr/bin/shotwell
shotwell-0.24.1-1.fc25.x86_64

# ldd /usr/bin/shotwell |grep -i "not found"
        libicui18n.so.56 => not found
	libicudata.so.56 => not found
	libicuuc.so.56 => not found

Where version .56 is provided by libicu-57.1-2.fc25.x86_64

Comment 1 Pablo Iranzo Gómez 2016-11-22 19:27:39 UTC
Newer build at https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=816170 still doesn't solve the issue.

Comment 2 Pablo Iranzo Gómez 2016-11-22 19:30:43 UTC
Sorry, on #0 I meant .57 is provided by libicu-57...

Comment 3 Thomas Moschny 2016-11-22 21:32:04 UTC
Shotwell does not directly depend on libicu, but only indirectly via webkitgtk4 (this can be seen e.g. by using lddtree).

Comment 4 Michael Catanzaro 2016-11-22 22:15:37 UTC
If I try 'sudo dnf remove libicu' it wants to remove webkitgtk4, so clearly it sees the dependency, right? What is the bug, how did you wind up without libicu installed?

Comment 5 Pablo Iranzo Gómez 2016-11-22 23:15:42 UTC
Reinstallation of webkitgtk4-jsc-2.14.1-2.fc25.x86_64 apparently fixed the issue, closing the bz.

Thanks!
Pablo
