Description of problem:
We have Dell Precision 370n Workstation with SATA drive.
Upon installing new Kernel update kernel-2.6.9-1.678_FC3 on FC3, it
shows "Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!" during the
boot time.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-2.6.9-1.678_FC3

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install fresh copy of FC3
2. Install new kernel update - kernel-2.6.9-1.678_FC3
3. Reboot
    

Actual Results:  Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!"

Expected Results:  Expected to reboot properly.

Too late for me -- my disk is so trashed I can't even _reinstall_. A
quick disk reformat with knoppix should do the trick. *Sigh*
