Description of problem:
Login screen does not scale for HiDPI display.
I have DELL XPS 13 with QHD (3200x1800).
I have set up UI scale to automatic for Cinnamon and works fine, but this setting does not apply to login screen

First reported issue for cinnamon-session.
https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon-session/issues/83#issuecomment-263114912

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora 25 Cinnamon Spin
lightdm 1.18.2

Expected results:
Scale factor applies to login screen

Additional info:
Is there any way to solve it?

lightdm-gtk isn't hidpi aware, upstream would need to add support for this.

FYI cinnamon spin now uses slick-greeter instead for this reason

sudo dnf install slick-greeter lightdm-settings
