Description Ulhas Surse 2016-11-28 08:45:46 UTC
Description of problem:
ovirt-engine-rename tool is not making required changes in host files like in /etc/ovirt-hosted-engine/hosted-engine.conf file for fqdn.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHEVM 4.0.5
hosted engine setup

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run # /usr/share/ovirt-engine/setup/bin/ovirt-engine-rename in rhvm.
2. Verify the fqdn in hosted-engine.conf
3. it fails to check liveliness

Actual results:
hosted-engine --check-liveliness
Hosted Engine is not up!

Expected results:
hosted-engine --check-liveliness
Hosted Engine is up!

Additional info:
workaround is to change fqdn in /etc/ovirt-hosted-engine/hosted-engine.conf

The engine rename tool only handles the engine, not the HE hosts.
Please open a RFE to do the rename on the hosts.
