Does using the known good stable version for either application help, in other words, does this bug only exist with the combination of the two updated versions? Please see original report: "...the problem persists after manually installing known-good stable versions of both applications." Ah, in other words, all available versions? Created attachment 1225226 [details] screen grabs demonstrating Inkscape SIF bug Description of problem: After upgrading to Fedora 25, vector images are corrupted when saving Inkscape SVG files as SIF files and then opening them in Synfig Studio. This problem did not exist in Fedora 24. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): inkscape-0.92-5.pre2.fc25.x86_64 synfigstudio-1.1.10-0.2016gitd4e547.fc25.x86_64 (These are both pre-release versions from the F25 repo, but the problem persists after manually installing known-good stable versions of both applications. F24 included stable versions of both applications and did not have this problem.) How reproducible: Happens reliably, especially where type is involved (even after the type has been converted to paths) Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a vector image in Inkscape. Images with type are more likely to experience trouble. 2. Save Inkscape document as SIF file. 3. Open SIF file in Synfig Studio. Actual results: Vector images look different from what was generated in Inkscape. Expected results: Vector images should look the same in Synfig Studio as they do in Inkscape. Additional info:
