Can you provide a valid description?
Steps to reproduce?
Did this issue occurs frequently ?
Is the problem still exists with the latest updates?

Comment 15 Petr Lautrbach 2017-01-02 09:30:37 UTC
It's still reproducible.

$ rpm -q mate-terminal
mate-terminal-1.17.0-1.fc26.x86_64

1. run multiple terminals

$ mate-terminal & mate-terminal & mate-terminal &

2. close one of them

abrt-hook-ccpp[4229]: Process 4043 (mate-terminal) of user 13558 killed by SIGSEGV - dumping core

Comment 16 Wolfgang Ulbrich 2017-01-02 11:20:55 UTC
Hmm,
i can't reproduce this in rawhide/f25/f24 in mate session with following your instruction.
ABRT gives me no alarm here.
How do you close the terminals , alt-f4?
Which DE are you using?

Btw. report is for f25 but you posted package versions for f26, so what is the the truth?

Comment 17 Petr Lautrbach 2017-01-02 11:28:15 UTC
I use i3 instead of mate. It used to work. Original report was created on f25 but I'm on f26 now.

Seems like closing the window using 'kill' i3 command doesn't create a segfault. But when I end my shell - zsh - using exit or ctrl-d it kills all other terminal windows.

Comment 18 Wolfgang Ulbrich 2017-01-31 09:29:07 UTC
mate-terminal-1.17.0-3.fc26
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=837303
should fix the issue.

Comment 19 Petr Lautrbach 2017-01-31 11:38:39 UTC
It works with mate-terminal-1.17.0-3.fc26. Thanks!
