Description Tomas Tomecek 2016-12-01 09:43:41 UTC
Notmuch recently added support [1] for named queries. In order to use that feature, you need to have xapian built with field processor. After 10 minutes of internet searching I haven't figured out what that means or how to actually achieve that. I presume it's a feature of newer version of xapian.

I'm in the process of rebasing rawhide to 1.4.x so it might be part of that. Hoping to land that into rawhide in the next week or so.

Sounds awesome! Please update this bug once it's in rawhide.

Comment 3 Peter Robinson 2016-12-22 06:03:45 UTC
So 1.4.x is now in rawhide, please test and let me know if the field processor stuff is there, if not we'll have a closer look.

Hi Peter, can confirm that the field processor support is there and is working just fine with notmuch. Thank you!
