This message is a reminder that Fedora 25 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 25. Created attachment 1227644 [details] Journal Description of problem: Most laptops have the ability to blank the screen (like turning off a monitor) for a while to save battery, on Xorg the shortcut for this quick feature works properly, screen goes black (sleeps) when pressing the key combo, on my laptop Fn + F6, but on Wayland it turns off for one second and comes back to life as if the Kernel received a new UNBLANK order on mdss at will. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Not sure what package does that, I guess this code is located in libwayland-client, which is on 1.12.0-1 version. How reproducible: Press the key combo to sleep the screen (blank) and wait for a few seconds until it gets "unblanked" without any touches. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Press the sleep key combination. 2. Wait for ~1s. Actual results: Screen blanks and unblanks without any input. Expected results: Screen must blank until an input is detected. Additional info: Attached.
