Description Quentin Armitage 2016-12-04 15:36:42 UTC
Description of problem:
The problem occurred at upgrading from amavisd-2.10.1-5 to 2.11-0.3 (also to 2.11.0.4). Downgrading amavisd to 2.10.1-5 stops the problem occurring.
SELinux is preventing amavisd from 'read' accesses on the lnk_file log.

***** Plugin catchall_boolean (89.3 confidence) suggests ******************

If you want to allow antivirus to can scan system
Then you must tell SELinux about this by enabling the 'antivirus_can_scan_system' boolean.
You can read 'None' man page for more details.
Do
setsebool -P antivirus_can_scan_system 1

***** Plugin catchall (11.6 confidence) suggests **************************

If you believe that amavisd should be allowed read access on the log lnk_file by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# ausearch -c 'amavisd' --raw | audit2allow -M my-amavisd
# semodule -X 300 -i my-amavisd.pp
