Engine crashed at one point (cannot reproduce)
(Originally by rhev-integ)
Engine is installed on RHEL 7.3 (Originally by rhev-integ) @Spencer, ping? Any ETA on this? (Originally by Greg Sheremeta) s/Spencer/Spenser/ My apologies (Originally by Greg Sheremeta) I believe ownership of this component has been transferred to Scott Herold. I'm not sure how to transfer my default ownership of this component(I spent an hour of Google with no progress). @Scott can you confirm? (Originally by Spenser Shumaker) @Spenser, we figured out that Alexander Wels now owns this, and I've sent a BZ request to Bronce McClain to correct the default. (Originally by Greg Sheremeta) Thank you! (Originally by Spenser Shumaker) @Oved, please change if not 4.0.5 material. Caused by path changes: 2016-08-31 10:23:34,175 ERROR [org.ovirt.engine.core.utils.servlet.ServletUtils] (default task-1) [] Can't read file '/usr/share/doc/rhevm-doc/manual/en-US/html/Administration_Guide/chap-Virtual_Machines.html' for request '/ovirt-engine/docs/manual/en-US/html/Administration_Guide/chap-Virtual_Machines.html', will send a 404 error response. 2016-08-31 10:23:55,582 ERROR [org.ovirt.engine.core.utils.servlet.ServletUtils] (default task-32) [] Can't read file '/usr/share/doc/rhevm-doc/manual/en-US/html/Administration_Guide/chap-Virtual_Machines.html' for request '/ovirt-engine/docs/manual/en-US/html/Administration_Guide/chap-Virtual_Machines.html', will send a 404 error response. chap-Virtual_Machines.html doesn't exist in the docs anymore. See screenshot of latest 4.0.4 rpm contents. Alexander, we should either try to sync this and rhevm-doc on a calendar, or change the design. This isn't a good design. (Also, do people use this thing?) (Originally by Greg Sheremeta) Created attachment 1200615 [details]
rpm contents -- that page is missing
(Originally by Greg Sheremeta)
Happened to me again today. The exact same scenario. First time I tried to press on a documentation button, it resulted in 404 error. The second time resulted in engine process crash. After restarting the engine, I couldn't reproduce the crash anymore but 404 is being showed under all tabs. BTW, today it happen during bringing up a VM (don't think it has to do anything with VM coming up but just mentioning...) (Originally by rhev-integ) Greg, can you please take a look? Not verified in rhevm-doc-4.0.6-1.el7ev.noarch
Did you also use redhat-support-plugin-rhev-4.0.0-9.el7ev as well? I have only redhat-support-plugin-rhev-4.0.0-7.el7ev.noarch, because that's in 4.0.6-7. moved to 4.0.7 until we clear this out. Verified on 4.0.7-1 Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory, and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2017-0537.html |
