Description Pim Rupert 2016-12-06 13:25:10 UTC
Description of problem:

EPEL contains a very old version of monitoring plugins, in which several bugs are present and lots of features are lacking to be able to use TLS in checks.

Please update the monitoring plugins to the latest stable version 2.2 which contains fixes for bugs, security improvements and enhancements to set TLS version in checks.

Ping! Is this package actively maintained?

Comment 2 Scott Wilkerson 2016-12-16 14:57:45 UTC
This package is maintained, however the project page you are referencing is monitoring-plugins, this package is nagios-plugins

https://nagios-plugins.org

You are correct, my bad. But what about nagios-plugins 2.1.4. From reading the release notes from 2.0.3 to 2.1.4 it seems that they contain the same fixes.

It would be great if the package in EPEL was updated to nagios-plugins 2.1.4.
