Description of problem:
Hello,

While trying to upgrade (up2date or manual rpm -Fvh) the kernel
on a fully updated Fedora Core2 based machine (Compaq DL380), the
rpm install process complains about a missing megaraid module (the
Compaq DL380 raid controller), and as such, it cannot create the
needed initrd, and in consequence, the kernel cannot be upgraded.

The previous version of the kernel, 2.6.8-1.521smp, did include
this module. The current situation requires compilation of the new
kernel manually on every machine, instead of the usual seamless
and automatic update mechanism.

If you could please release an updated release of 2.6.9-1.3_FC2
kernel (both smp and non smp, i686 arch), and remain consistent with
the previous release of the kernel so that upgraded can work, I'll
be much obliged.

thanks,

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-smp-2.6.9-1.3_FC2

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Fully up2dated FC2 on Compaq DL380
2. Run up2date
3. Chose the kernel packages and the error will appear when
rpm attempts to install the packages.

Actual Results: rpm fails, initrd fails to be created, fails on a
dependancy requiring
the 'megaraid' module to exist in the modules directory.

Expected Results: Clean installation of the kernel packages,
upgrading the previous
FC2 kernel update.
