Description of problem:
In grub2 info, selecting "*note Multiboot Specification" results in error "multiboot: No such file or directory"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
grub2-tools-2.02-0.34.fc24.x86_64

Section "5.1.1 How to boot an OS directly with GRUB", the page which contains the broken link has a note "FIXME: this section is incomplete", so apparently this is a known issue.
