This message is a reminder that Fedora 25 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 25. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '25'. Created attachment 1230653 [details] journalctl log Description of problem: When I try to start apps from the gnome UI, I get back to the login screen. It's like wayland crashes (but it doesn't, see logs). Examples of programs that trigger this problem: pidgin, gnome-control-center. Chrome and gnome-terminal never have this problem. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Latest Fedora 25 (clean install) - Gnome version 3.22.2. This started happening after a dnf update on Friday (11.12.2016). Hardware: Dell XPS 13 (9360) How reproducible: Always reproducible under Wayland Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log in with wayland 2. Start Gnome Control Center from UI Actual results: Back to login screen Expected results: Gnome Control Center should work Additional info: The issue doesn't happen if I start the applications from the terminal (gnome-terminal). Issue doesn't happen under X. Attached journalctl (boot log, then logged in and started gnome-control-center)
