In the first step of this page, for successfully configure the compute node, we need to install 'openstack-ceilometer-compute' also. So the correct step should be:

"yum -y install openstack-ceilometer-compute python-ceilometer python-ceilometerclient".

Reproducible: Always

Assigning to Lukas for review.

Lukas, the referenced section is in the 'URL' field of this bug. We should also confirm whether this change must be applied to any later versions.

Comment 2 Lukas Ruzicka 2016-12-22 08:13:39 UTC
I added the <em>openstack-ceilometer-compute</em> package into the procedure. The bug was the same for OSP8, 9, and 10, so I fixed it in all versions.
