adwaita-qt4 and adwaita-qt5 are default packages, so: * It will grow default ISO * will install 1/4 of KDE ;) *** Bug 1404603 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** adwaita-qt-0.97-1.fc25 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 25. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-f489df36f2 All unnecessary packages will automatically be deleted after update adwaita-qt4 to 0.97-1 version? (In reply to Mikhail from comment #4) > All unnecessary packages will automatically be deleted after update > adwaita-qt4 to 0.97-1 version? no, but they will be marked as unneeded and you can run `dnf autoremove`. adwaita-qt-0.97-1.fc25 has been pushed to the Fedora 25 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for instructions on how to install test updates. You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-f489df36f2 (In reply to Igor Gnatenko from comment #5) > no, but they will be marked as unneeded and you can run `dnf autoremove`. I think a most part of the user even not know about this issue. And that a small part of who knows does not know command `dnf autoremove`. Therefore I propose feature request for gnome-software and dnf for automatically remove packages that are no longer needed. This would automate the solving of such problems on end-user machines. it's possible, but unfortunately there are a lot of drawbacks. Until we have proper db which contains such information (current design of db is very bad) I would not enable it. (In reply to Igor Gnatenko from comment #8) > it's possible, but unfortunately there are a lot of drawbacks. Until we have > proper db which contains such information (current design of db is very bad) > I would not enable it. Ok, I understand that it not easy. But I wish to see it in roadmap of package manager or roadmap not exist? adwaita-qt-0.97-1.fc25 has been pushed to the Fedora 25 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
