Description Bronce McClain 2016-12-16 20:18:28 UTC
"The following packages that were shipped in RHV 4.0 will need naming updates for 4.1 to be consistent with the branding changes introduced in 4.0 ('Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization'->'Red Hat Virtualization')

redhat-support-plugin-rhev-4.0.0-5.el7ev.noarch.rpm

Simply remove the 'e' for 4.1 package."

@Bronce,

Do you know if we renamed the rhevm package to rhvm already? I need to know which one to pick in my requires in the spec file.

Thanks,
Alexander

Which package specifically? I'm tracking all package renames here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1405599

Comment 4 Alexander Wels 2016-12-20 14:49:29 UTC
I currently have:

Requires: rhevm >= 4.1.0

in my spec file, I am trying to determine if I should switch that to:

Requires: rhvm >= 4.1.0

or not. As far as I know that is the main rhevm package.

Postponing to 4.2 per Yaniv Dary

Comment 7 Greg Sheremeta 2017-10-30 16:24:33 UTC
This package is dropped. See Bug 1486822
