anyone know a workaround? how can i help?

currently, i have to something else than xemacs for .tex editing, which is rather annoying.

Sorry, I've been dealing with packages that didn't work at all, so a package that mostly works but has a bug was further down my list. It looks like this bug is due to defface declarations that include a :height specifier, in font-latex.el. I'm not sure what to do about that, so I've asked the other XEmacs developers for advice. Let me see what they have to say, and we'll get a solution for this put together.

GNU emacs somewhat works, but currently AUC-TeX has the annoying bug that C-c C-r and C-c C-b fail.

AUC-TeX doesn't "mostly work", it doesn't work at all.

I mean that xemacs mostly works. I was referring to Fedora packages.
