Description z117 2016-12-24 10:51:52 UTC
Description of problem:
After upgrade from F23 to F25 mate-screensaver' "blank screen" mode doesn't really make the screen blank. It just freezes the screen picture until mouse/kbd activity.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mate-screensaver-1.16.0-1.fc25.x86_64

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run mate desktop.
2. Select "blank screen" in screensaver settings.
3. Do nothing. Wait.

Actual results:
No visible screen changes after screensaver activation.

Expected results:
Black screen after screensaver activation.

Use simply another screensaver theme for the moment, see other report
