Description Peter Ondrejka 2017-01-02 08:34:10 UTC
Creating this bug as a result of discussion in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1377636#c10

After 1377636, katello-backup always creates a subdirectory in the specified dir (both for normal and incremental backup), whereas before the fix katello-backup overwrote previous backups existing in the specified directory. This RFE asks for a fallback option to previous behavior for cases when katello-backup is run as a scheduled task -- to prevent piling-up the back-up content.
