This message is a reminder that Fedora 25 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 25. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '25'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Created attachment 1241908 [details] SELinux alert Description of problem: When attempting to change the background in XFCE in a fresh install of the XFCE-spin, I get an SELinux alert. The dialog then never shows any background thumbnails, and can't choose any files. Performing both of the steps outlined in the SELinux Troubleshooter don't fix anything, the SELinux error just pops up again. It seems like I need a more relaxed restriction on allowing the picker to access the `.cache/thumbnails` dir, and also to the directories containing images, `/usr/share` and `$HOME`. Its not clear to me what the "pool" source process is. I'm able to view those directories in the file manager with no problems.
