The error does not come from rpm but /sbin/weak-modules script. Whether it's a bug in there I have no idea, but reassigning to kmod which should be closer to the mark at least. Was a fix for this made? If so, what version? Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
