In upstream this BZ report is linked to https://github.com/rear/rear/issues/1192 In rear version 2.01 genisoimage rpm package will be forced instead of mkisofs Within fedora 26 (or 27) this should be fixed. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rear-2.00-1.fc25.x86_64 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install rear 2. create rescue media with "rear mkrescue" 3. ERROR: Could not find 'mkisofs' compatible program. Please install 'mkisofs', 'genisoimage' or 'ebiso'... Actual results: Rescue media not create Expected results: Media creation Additional info:
