This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 26 development cycle.
Changing version to '26'.

Problems against new openssl.

Have opened a thread upstream.

Fix the FTBFS using the upstream comment

Upstream responded with some fix instructions.

Attached a patch implementing them. The package builds for me with this fix.
