Tested VM SmartState on RHV-4.0.7 provider. VM SSA - task Finished, but SSA data is not seen in the VM details page. This was tested both for NFS & Iscsi disks. Additional info for comment #2: CFME version: 5.8.0.3 Created attachment 1260848 [details]

Performed SmartState Analysis on Virtual Machine on Vsphere55 provider. Virtual Machine task Finished, but SSA data is not seen in the VM details page. CFME version: 5.8.0.7 SmartState Analysis works fine on 5.8.0.9-alpha2.20170404195944_1d7ece4 Closing this bz as worksforme. |
Created attachment 1259522 [details] Screenshot showing actual results Description of problem: After setting environment, Performed SmartState Analysis on Virtual Machine it fails with "scan operation yielded no data. aborting" Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):5.8.0.3.20170301174324_1e2e0c4 How reproducible:100% Steps to Reproduce: 1.Add provider in an appliance (I used vSphere) 2.Add host credentials and create analysis profile 3.Perform SmartState Analysis on Virtual Machine. Actual results: SmartState Analysis on Virtual Machine finishes with "scan operation yielded no data. aborting". Expected results: SmartState Analysis on Virtual Machine should be finished without any error. Additional info:
