Hi Tony. I haven't managed to reproduce this yet. Have you changed any configuration (lvmconfig --type diff)? Can you paste the fullreport commands with -vvvv? Created attachment 1260473 [details]
lvm shell output of fullreport -vvvvv
No configuration changes have been made, this is a default F25 installation utilizing distributed lvm2 RPM packages. lvmconfig --type diff comes back empty. This is interesting, if I only use the first 2 PVs /dev/sdb & /dev/sdc, to create the VG only those 2 PVs are missing after I remove the VG, sde.. sdg are still present. |
Description of problem: lvm shell fullreport stops reporting any output Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): LVM version: 2.02.167(2) (2016-11-05) Library version: 1.02.136 (2016-11-05) Driver version: 4.35.0 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. run "lvm" to get a lvm shell 2. In lvm shell run "fullreport" on a system that has some PVs and note output 3. In a separate terminal create a VG eg. "vgcreate test /dev/sdb /dev/sdc /dev/sdd /dev/sde /dev/sdf /dev/sdg" 4. In the lvm shell run "full report", note the output 5. In separate terminal run "vgremove test" 7.
