Description of problem:
Hello!

Ever since installing owncloud-9.1.4-3.fc25 my server is frequently entering maintenance mode (the same mode it goes into when it wants to do DB updates). I clicked on the upgrade button in the web UI about 3-4 times so far. I first reported this problem in Bodhi[0].

At the request of jhogarth I did some snooping and I found some potentially useful data points:

* If I run the server with no apps at all, it will run overnight with no problems (~8 hours).
* If I enable the calendar app, it will run into this problem relatively quickly, though not immediately. I've noticed it within 30-60 minutes of enabling the app.

I will attach logs of the CLI upgrade in case they are useful. I didn't see anything that seemed to be related to the upgrade in /var/lib/owncloud/data/owncloud.log so I assume the CLI output is what jhogarth wanted to see.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
owncloud-9.1.4-4.fc25.noarch

How reproducible:
Every time on my system. I haven't tested on a clean install.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable the calendar app.
2. Wait a while (30-60 minutes).

Actual results:
OwnCloud enters maintenance mode.

Expected results:
OwnCloud should only enter maintenance mode after upgrades.

Hmmph I have calendar installed and this doesn't happen for me ...

What version does your calendar app claim it is? Mine is 1.4.1

Can you verify your system apps looks like this:

ls /usr/share/owncloud/apps/
activity external files_external files_versions provisioning_api
comments federatedfilesharing files_pdfviewer files_videoplayer systemtags
configreport federation files_sharing firstrunwizard templateeditor
dav files files_texteditor gallery user_external
encryption files_antivirus files_trashbin notifications user_ldap

Was this a clean install or an upgrade from an older version, and if older then how much older?

Hello James!

Ever since I ran occ upgrade yesterday to get the logs in this ticket the problem has not returned. Perhaps the CLI upgrade tool did something that the web upgrade tool didn't do? I don't know how to explain it, but my OwnCloud server seems to work well now.
