Description François Cami 2017-03-09 16:22:57 UTC
Description of problem:
The host-specific bootdisk does not boot on KVM VMs if the disk interface is set to SCSI (virtio-scsi).

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a host in Satellite
2. Download the host-specific bootdisk
3. Boot the disk on a VM with the disk set to SCSI

Actual results:
Anaconda stops at storage selection.

Expected results:
Anaconda finds virtio-scsi disk and finishes the install

Additional info:
This is supported by RHEL since RHEL 6.4 and offers among other things:
* discard support
* better performance in some situations

17:32 lzap | fcami: can you try with PXE boot first? │ cfoo
17:32 lzap | fcami: this has nothing to do with bootdisk, if Anaconda starts fine that bootdisk work is done
